May the 4th be with you…

To day is, or was, Star Wars day. Thankfully our population is a little more sedate when it comes to proclaiming these fantastical celebrations, but our pals in America like to let their presence be felt:

The Pawtucket Red Sox, the triple-A affiliate of Boston’s big league team, celebrated yesterday with a couple dozen costumed Star Wars characters in attendance for their game against the Gwinnett Braves. Darth Vader apparently threw the opening pitch.

Star Wars Day… if it blows your 7ft ginger humanoid-spliced-wooly mammoth best friend’s hair back, why not!

I find the whole thing bizarre. If you’re out there fighting the Empire, hope you had an amazing day!
